Ingredients You’ll Need

Ingredients needed to make honey lavender latte.
  • espresso — I use vanilla Nespresso pods, but you can brew a strong coffee or use instant espresso.
  • honey lavender syrup — see my homemade honey lavender syrup recipe to make this at home. You can also look for it in-stores if you have a speciality store near you.
  • milk — you can use regular milk or dairy-free milk.

Recipe Tips and Notes

  • Instead of ice, freeze extra coffee in an ice tray and use it in the latte to avoid it getting watered down! I do this with my matcha often to keep my matcha latte from being watery!
  • Make this stronger by using less milk and increasing the espresso.
  • Add some froth or whipped cream on top if you desire!

How to Make Honey Lavender Syrup

  • In a small pot, combine 2 tablespoons of lavender, ½ cup honey, and ½ cup water over medium heat. Stir as you bring the syrup up to a simmer. No need to bring it up to a boil, a gentle simmer is all you need.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes or until the honey is dissolved into the mixture, and then remove the syrup from the heat and let it steep for 10 to 25 minutes, depending on how strong you’d like the lavender honey syrup to taste.
  • Strain the mixture into an airtight container. Let cool to room temperature before sealing it and storing it in the fridge.
  • Use agave and non-dairy milk to make this latte vegan.
