If you haven’t air fried frozen dumplings, then you’re in for a treat! These Air Fryer Dumplings come together quickly and easily without having to thaw them. This method works for frozen potstickers, gyoza, and wontons as well. Plus, no need to worry about oil splatter to get crispy dumplings!

I love crispy dumplings but I hate dealing with oil splatter. Thanks to the air fryer, you can now get crispy dumplings without having to deal with oil splatter. Plus, there’s no flipping them every two minutes to get each side to crisp up. The air fryer turns making crispy dumplings into a hands-free recipe.

Can you cook dumplings in an air fryer?

Yes! I mean, unless you’re making them from scratch then you’ll have to cook the dumplings’ filling first but if you have a bag of frozen dumplings, potstickers, gyozas, or wontons, then simply pop them into the air fryer. It’s so easy to cook dumplings in an air fryer.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Bag of dumplings.
  • frozen dumplings — I find some crisp up better in the air fryer than others. I would test out one dumpling first to see if the results is what you’d like. I always recommend that you try 1 serving first just to make sure as not all air fryers work the same (ie some need preheating and some don’t).
  • oil spray — this helps the frozen dumplings crisp up in the air fryer.

My Recommendation

This is the air fryer I use. I love how large this air fryer is! It can fit a whole chicken or 2 bags of frozen French fries!
